Today's conversation in the van:
Faith: When I grow up I want to marry Jimmy. (A little boy from her class)
Me: Why?
Faith: Because Jimmy is sweet.
Me: What did he do to you that was sweet?
Faith: Well, one time I asked him if he liked a necklace I was wearing and he said yes! And I think that means he thinks everything I am wearing is cute! I think if I fell in the mud or the snow he would still think I am cute!
Me: {dumbfounded silence}
Faith: The only problem is, Riley likes Jimmy too and she said she wants to marry Jimmy...what do we do about that? Can Jimmy have two wives?
Me: Uh, no. That won't work.
Faith: Well, I guess I will just have to marry someone more handsome than Jimmy.
Me: Good idea, Faith.

Oh Little Lu....what a sweetheart you are. I will pray that God is preparing your future husband....who will love and adore you..even if you fall in the mud or the snow.

Oh my goodness what a wondrous thought process and progression! Holy smokes, she is a gorgeous one...bet she can do better than Jimmy. ;)
