Leave a Comment For a Chance to Win "IT'S ME!"

At age 2 1/2, Faith has developed a preference for a few things...there are the pink and purple "special blankies," her favorite stuffed animal (goofy) who she calls "babydoll puppy," and last but not least, the wonderfully imaginative book "IT'S ME!"

"IT'S ME!" is a delightful story about a spunky little girl named Patricia, who dresses-up and pretends to be a princess, a witch, and her mommy.  "IT'S ME!" features a companion "book-on-cd" which we have listened to on our daily travels countless times. The story is so fresh and sweet that I don't even mind obliging the kids' requests for it!

Having listened to the cd several hundred times, Faith has completely memorized the book. The pictures below are of her "reading" the book to her great-grandma.

Eric Drachman, the author of "IT'S ME!" is sending me a signed copy to give away to one of my fortunate readers! All you have to do is leave a comment for me on this post, and a random winner will be selected by Faith! Bonus entry for linking my post to your blog (just be sure to leave me a comment that you are!)

Additional Eric Drachman books can be found here.
We own all five books, and in an email I begged Eric to quickly write another to add to our collection. The quality of the cds are excellent, and really add another dimension to story time.

Eric, thank you so very much for using your talent to write such wonderful books, and for the signed copy to give away! We are indebted to you!

Watch Faith Recite "IT'S ME!"

Remember, you must leave a comment to be eligible to win!

Krissy - Oh my God - that video of Faith is ADORABLE! And so are the pictures... Thanks for your enthusiasm about my books. I'm writing a new one now, but it's a slow process and I don't like to "settle" for "good enough." Please don't enter *me* in your raffle - I have plenty of copies :-) but I wanted to leave you a comment. I work at home and mostly alone, so it's very gratifying to hear from my little readers and fans. It's so nice to see my books out in the world being enjoyed. So, thank you!

Kris, she is so like her mommy. You always had a book in your hands. And what a great/creative idea for a post.
Eric, if by chance you read the comments, thank you for writing such a great book for my grand daughter to enjoy.

That would be a fun book to try but we are selective in bringing out our "paper" books - the kids like to turn pages and aren't always taht gentle. We also like the Llama Llama books - here's a link (there are 3): http://www.amazon.com/Llama-Mad-at-Mama/dp/0670062405

As a teacher, I am a huge fan of reading and books, and know it's importance in a young child's life... Its great to see how this author has inspired your family to read and inspire Faith to really enjoy (and memorize) books!

I have wanted to say for a while that I have enjoyed reading your posts about your twins. It is as if you were meant to be a mother of twins. You seem like an amazing mother and your kids seem delightful!

omgoodness, that youtube is the cutest thing! i don't know what i love more - that she's memorized this intricate narrative with appropriate intonation or that she's reciting it while sitting on the potty!
