Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up.But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Christmas Eve Photos
On Christmas Eve, we dressed up and went to the 5:00 church service.
Jonathan and Mimi standing in the church lobby.
After the service, the kids ran to the play area.
Faith really liked being dressed up like a "babydoll princess," which is what we had to call her all evening.
When I see pictures of Jonathan dressed up, I flash forward to his teen years (and prom) and think that glint in his eye could lead to a lot of sleepless nights for this mama when her little guy is a heartbreaking teenager!
When we got home, it was time to open all the gifts that came in the mail from the out of town relatives. This was so much fun. They are at a great age for being excited, no THRILLED about everything. It was wonderful to watch.

Baking Christmas Cookies With Mama
(I would just like to point out that these are the last four cookies Jonathan "finished" decorating while I was out of the room. Do you think he thought I wouldn't notice if he took an equal bite out of each one?)

Christmas Cookies for Uncle Brian
To: Uncle Brian
From: Faith and Jonathan
Dear Uncle Brian,
Mommy says you have to work on Christmas, and that you and Aunt Tonya and Natalie won't be able to come see us. So, Mommy decided to bake you your favorite Christmas cookies while we were watching a movie. Well, of course as soon as we saw that she was baking, we ran to the dining room and pulled our chairs into the kitchen to help. Mommy said she didn't need any help, but we knew better.
We had a really fun time making your cookies, and we were really helpful! While Mommy pulled hot cookies from the oven, we got a head start rolling out the dough for mommy by dumping about a pound of flour onto the dough and rolling it out. We sure hope you like them!
We love you Uncle Brian, and will miss you on Christmas Day!
Love,
Faith and Jonathan
PS Mommy told us to add that we washed our hands before helping in the kitchen, and we only stuck our hands in the icing a few times.
